This class will focus on generating imagery for flat or three-dimensional objects and treating the surface of the clay with various glazes, underglazes, washes, and carving techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide students through foundational hand building techniques. An emphasis will be placed on visuals from memory and personal experiences through activating these various modes of introspection. The material fee includes four 2-oz underglazes for every student, as well as communal materials. Each student receives two shelves to store work, clay, and tools for the duration of the class.
